SENSORIUM is almost six months old and we are starting to feel like we know what we are doing. As many of you know, our intention with creating SENSORIUM was not just to make it a traditional gallery. We envisioned creating a place that not only showcased art but also a place that brought people together. A place where communities gather. A place where ideas are shared. A place where friends hangout. And a place where new things happen.

One of the main ideas from the beginning was to include the element of food. Food brings people together and unites our differences. Many of our most memorable experiences are tied  to the sharing of food. Our vision is food with a focus on its communal nature. Envision an amazing communal table with room for ten or more friends on each side. Add a choreography of the tangible and intangible: space, light, temperature, sound, smell, taste, touch – all creating an experience of the senses.

To make this happen we collaborated with a food visionary who shared our sense of adventure. Someone who wanted to create foods of interest, of surprise, of complexity – unexpected contrasts of flavor, texture, and delight. Please join SENSORIUM owners Kenneth Kornacki and Neille Hoffman for the unveiling of the "Periodic Table" dining series. The first scenario will feature the culinary artistry of James-Beard nominated chef, Justin Carlisle.

Dinner will consist of 5 set courses with beverage pairings. Accompanying the dinner will be a private preview of "Cyclic Histories (for M.L.)", a sound and light installation by musician and intermedia artist Lawton Hall that explores nostalgia and memory through a manic ballet of found 35 mm slides.
